What to expect
Maduro wrappers are fermented longer, so they’re dark and naturally sweet, with notes like cocoa, coffee and dark fruit. The Torpedo has a pointed head, so you can decide how much to cut and how open the draw is.
Cutting and lighting
Clip a thin slice off the cap with a sharp cutter, just above the line where the cap meets the wrapper. Toast the foot over a butane flame or cedar spill, turning it until it glows evenly, then take slow puffs, about one a minute, so it stays cool.
Storing your cigars
Premium cigars like 65 to 70% humidity and 65 to 70°F. A humidor or a sealed container with a humidity pack works fine. Too dry and they crack and burn hot, too damp and they burn unevenly.
